ORBIT Node (version 4)
Table of Contents
The fourth generation of ORBIT nodes are based on Asus Q87T motherboards. These thin Mini ITX Form Factor with LGA1150 socket motherboards are powered by a single 19V power source which makes them suitable for use in cars and for other mobile applications. The deployed nodes come in two configurations:
- High performance nodes with Intel I7-4770 3.4GHZ (8MB) with 16 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
- Lower performance nodes with Intel I5-4440 3.1GHZ (6MB) with 8 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
