Table of Contents
The fourth generation of ORBIT nodes
Main Generation 4 Nodes
The fourth generation of ORBIT nodes are based on Asus Q87T motherboards. These thin Mini ITX Form Factor with LGA1150 socket motherboards are powered by a single 19V power source which makes them suitable for use in cars and for other mobile applications. The deployed nodes come in two configurations:
- Higher performance nodes with Intel I7-4770 3.4GHZ (8MB) with 16 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz RAM
- Lower performance nodes with Intel I5-4440 3.1GHZ (6MB) with 8 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
