Cognitive Radio Kit

The Cognitive Radio Kit (CRKIT) is a radio platform developed specifically to enable experimental research in Cognitive Radio and Dynamic Spectrum Access techniques. The kit itself consists of following three components :

  • Hardware platform (baseband & RF front-end)
  • FPGA-based System-on-Chip (SoC)
  • Communication APPs

Depending on the experiments, different type of APPs can be loaded onto the FPGA-based SoC. The SoC framework is available on a variety of hardware platforms. CRKIT permits for higher bandwidth and real-time performances. Additional information can be found at CRKIT wiki page.
