What is ORBIT?
Brief Abstract
This paper presents an overview of the ORBIT (Open Access Research Testbed for Next-Generation Wireless Networks)radio grid testbed, that is currently being developed for scalable and reproducible evaluation of next-generation wireless network protocols

Singh "Overview of the ORBIT Radio Grid Testbed for Evaluation of Next-Generation Wireless Network Protocols", Proceedings of the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC 2005) pdf
How was it designed? What does an experiment involve?
Brief Abstract
This paper presents the software architecture of the ORBIT radio grid testbed. It also describes the requirements for supporting the lifecycle of an experiment and their influence on the overall design of the ORBIT architecture.

How are the experimental measurements done and collected?
Brief Abstract
In this paper, the ORBIT measurement library (OML), which is a distributed software framework enabling real-time collection of data in a large testbed environment is presented

Are these measurements repeatable?
Brief Abstract
In this paper, the issue of repeatability in wireless experiments in the Open Access Research Testbed for Next-Generation Wireless Networks (ORBIT) testbed is addressed and a mechanism to promote reproducible experiments using periodic calibration of the equipment is proposed.

How do you map a topology onto specific node assignments?
Brief Abstract
This paper address the issue of mapping a network topology with given SNR requirements onto the actual ORBIT testbed
